What goes into a Strongguard Asbestos removal?
- All workers and estimators hold “B Class” Asbestos removal licenses and are qualified to remove asbestos safely
- All asbestos is removed as per Workplace Health and Safety requirements
- Asbestos sheets are removed avoiding breakage and dust generation
- For roofing removal sheets are either lowered by hand to the ground or by use of a mechanical lift to prevent breakage
- Industrial rated vacuums designed for asbestos removal are used to clean ceilings and walls following removal
- As an additional precaution a PVA solution is sprayed on surfaces to encapsulate the ceiling, walls and/or structures
- Once removed Asbestos sheeting is then either stacked and wrapped in black plastic or placed within a lined skip bin for prompt removal
- Transport of wrapped packs and/or skip bins is undertaken by Licensed Asbestos transporters
- Following removal all rubbish is removed and the site is left clean
- A final clearance inspection and report
